Mobilsonic Inc., a pioneer in the field of handheld ultrasound, announces that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued 510(k) approval for Mobilsonic to market its VUE 100™ handheld ultrasound scanner. It is the world’s smallest and lightest ultrasound imaging device available in the medical device market today. The VUE 100 measures 7.8 inches x 7.2 inches x 2.5 inch and weighs only 2.7 pounds. It is ideal for physicians and sonographers to use "in the field", in emergency rooms, or in small clinics. |
